    Hi shamzu… needless to say i reached your blog as an isro aspirant… and i must say i am pleasantly surprised by what you put in here… forgive my naiveity… but are people in isro generally like this? i mean blogging and things?

    and what exactly do u do there? i mean if and when i get in(:)) what can i expect to be doing? (i am from EC)

      @Viral
      Hi, good to know you are very much interested. You can take physics and mathematics for +2. After that get a good score in btech in your favorite field. You should work hard to get in to a good college. After Btech you can attend the centralized recruitement conducted by isro.
      If you like some other field than engineering, please mention it. I wish you the very best. :)

      @sajna
      Hey, Whats wrong with blogging and isro together? Since I don’t like watching cricket, I have enough time to do this ;) . Especially when a revolution is happening on the web, I can’t stay away from this.
      Btw, EC people can work on design and development of electronic systems for satellites, rockets etc.
      the areas include, Digital Electronics, Communication, Control systems etc. All the best. :)

    My dear Shamzu,
    i picked up your blog link from that Free Thinker’s community, Orkut. i exist there in the profile name “THE altruistic.”
    i am awe-struck going through your blog.

    i am much drawn towards these three topics
    1.Did you notice something wrong with the TV ads?
    very informative, and i have some thing to tell people.
    2.words that saved me from a sea of sadness.
    really i am touched by your teacher’s words
    .. and i am copying these lines for my own Orkut use
    with your permission. is it ok?
    3. the wrong map of india.
    I am a teacher, so this info comes to me very handy
    and i will certainly create awareness among my students
    and where else, you tell me, can this be made more effective
    than in school classrooms.

    God bless you!There is no height that you cannot reach!

      Dear Uma
      Thank you very much for your blessings.
      I think social networking media like blogs, orkut, facebook, twitter etc are powerful for spreading Ideas. They work almost the same way a society naturally select fittest of ideas. Since they are faster and wide spread, they are very effective.
      So, other than class rooms, these kinds of media will be very effective when you want to create awareness among people.

    Hello
    I am also an ISRO aspirant cleared the written exam held on 26 April for Scientist/Engineer(Electronics) and also have gone through the interview process on 13th of july at Ahmedabad, waiting for the result to come. As i was just searching out about ISRO i found your blog and it seems very interesting that you have replied so many queries. I really appreciate your step towards such a great job as i find very helpful in fulfilling my queries too. Can you give an idea that when did the results would be declared? and what other formalities are required after joining?

    Have a great day.

    Thanks in Advance

    hi shamzu,

    I am currently in my 4th year of B.E. I want to give ISRO exam next year. I am having eye-sight power of -5. I have heard that there is limitation on eye power in government organisations.
    Is there any limitation related to myopic eye-sight?
    Whether there is any limitation on vision?
