The Variable God

Usually the answer ‘yes’ for a question  is pleasant and ‘no’ is disturbing. Because ‘no’ creates another question what else?

It is very disturbing for a rational being to say, I ‘don’t know’ against popular mysteries of universe. So a pleasant answer ‘god’ is evolved. Even though this is an unknown variable with a number of possible values, it was sufficient enough for a common being to get satisfied.

So, such a very disturbing problem is origin of universe. and most of the people are satisfied with the answer ‘god’.

Another disturbing problem is the phenomenon of mind. We usually feel mind as something different than our body. So some are not satisfied with the answer mind is intellect and consciousness manifested as combination of thought, perception, memory, emotion, will and imagination. So as seen in Vedas ‘I’ is defined in terms of variable god. so they say ‘I’ am a spirit living in a body, ‘I’ am not the body. and they say ‘I’ am a creation of god unlike anything physically existing.

So, there comes the new problem of partiality of god. some are born happy ant others as miserable. To solve this, a new concept formed. it says unlike physical bodies ‘I’ am indestructible. And trying to solve the ‘partiality’ problem with a new constant( since it’s meaning is well defined) called reincarnation.

They say partiality is due to the karma in previous incarnation. But there comes a very disturbing problem of partiality for previous or first incarnation. How does it happened if god is the omnipotent creator ?

And also if reincarnation is a change in life center of an animal from one body to other, then how does the population always increases?. Some are not tricky enough to ask such question and satisfied with the story. But those who ask such questions finds the concept of reincarnation fails itself and fails to explain the phenomenon it tried to explain.

Firefox Flash plugin

No need to download and install flash player to view flash content in Mozilla Firefox. just Download npswf32.dll and copy the file to Mozilla Firefox\plug-ins folder. then restart ur fire fox.

this dll is the flash plug-in file for fire fox. This is useful if u need admin privilege to install flash player.

House sparrows endangered?

Indians are familiar with these kind of House sparrows. They usually nest near marketplace where bulk sale of rice, wheet etc are taking place. They happily eat virtually anything in small quantities. Now a days sparrows are rere to find in a markets. Someone working in a market told they were all dead by eating Newly arrived rice with excess of pesticides. These pesticides prevent attack from small worms for 3- 4 months. Even though it killed little sparrows quickly, to kill human more pesticides may be required or we need to eat more rice !

Deaf and Dumb

I know some one who is deaf and dumb. People need an ear to learn how and what to say. That’s why most of the deaf are dumb. what’s so special about this? I understood this only when recently I saw this person for the first time. I can’t even think what this person can understand if i showed the letter ‘A’ without having an abilty to associate it with a sound.

I was curiouss about this. fired a google search and found an article titled ‘How do deaf people learn to speak aloud?‘. that explains everything.

Relative motion

Do you know why rain seems slanted while travelling in a car even there is no wind? you can notice, it becomes normal when the car stops. actually direction of this rain is normal to earth. but when the car moves, the direction changes to the resultant of direction of vehicle and of normal to earth.

OOw. when i was a child i wondered a lot by dreaming a number of things like this.

like,

• If I dropped a coin in a moving bus, is it possible for some one else behind me can catch it since bus is moving and coin is falling directly towards earth?
• if i jumped off the top of a moving bus. will the bus moves forward and catch me before falling on ground ?

I resolved this only when there was some developments in my common sense .

Anyway don’t forget to tilt your umbrella a bit while walking in rain.

Bosch Interview

Yeah, I got placement in bosch. I have appeared for test from shreds. I am from ECE background. So questions were mainly from Electronic Circuits, Network theory, Control Systems, Microprocessors,2 or 3 questions from OS, C, and about 15- 20 general aptitude and English.

This year they had huge requirement for coimbatore centre. Around 365 got shortlisted. and called for interview to their coimbatore office.

There was 3 interviews. 2 tech and 1 HR.

1st Tech

There was 3 people in the panel. for me 1st tech took around 1Hr 45 mins.

They ask mainly from whatever u wrote in your resume. I wrote Hardware Skills as Computer Hardware, PIC, Embedded s/m etc. so they asked qs like how many motors are there in a CD drive, about ADC in PIC etc. they also asked questions from Project and from following subjects:

Control s/m, Embedded s/m, Network theory, MuP, OP-amp etc. You should prepare the basics well.

Some questions are listed here. ( my ans in brief is given in parenthesis ):

Tell the out put of PD, PI, PID controllers for sine, triangle and square waves.

Types of Control systems (Open loop and Closed loop)

show a closed loop c/s in this room (I showed the AC)

draw block diagram of a temperature control s/m.( Using micro controller )

Draw the circuit for it’s output section using relays.

Typed of ADC and which is better (Flash and successive approximation)

How do you rate yourself in C skills? (I said 4.5 since i heard someone with world records in c programming have rating 7. So I was careful to choose 4.5)

Architectures used in micro processors (RISC and CISC), draw their internal diagram, what are the differences and also how to choose architecture for our application.

Bus Architecture,( Harward and Von newmann). and their differences.

write a c program to alter a bit of a word.

what are bit-wise operators?

They asked me to design some simple Circuits also.

2nd Tech

2nd tech took only 25 mins. They asked HR and Tech Questions here. Very simple questions. Only 1 guy was there in panel. He asked me to introduce.

Then asked Questions like

have you got any other offer (HCL).

Where will you join if u got this job (Bosch).

Why do you want to join Boch
